Dear Parents and young fencers

Sunday 26th June - at Leicester Square - there will be a fencing show as aprt of the Champions 2012 program. I would like for as many of our young fencers to come along and be involved in the presentations. It would help me and Kamil alot. If we could arrange a meeting at 11.30am in Leicester Square - at the designated area for the fencing that would be great. Please call me on 0208 444 5295 to let me know and I will look out for you. It would mean a great deal for the future of fencing.

Guildford Fencing Club played host to the BBC for a children's television feature a few weeks back. We spent a long day in the sports hall filming, and the children are again at the studio next week. Perhaps you could make a mention at the AGM on the weekend......

For anyone interested it goes out on the 'Freeview' CBBC channel each evening next week, on the 4.30pm Xchange program

-5 minute film on Monday & Tuesday

-cut down version on Wednesday & Thursday

with the kids live on Thursday!

Could be quite amusing......and maybe generate a bit of interest in fencing.

I did brief them to mention the BFA and ring if iterested in local clubs....!!!
